To Measure Outside Radius

Outside Measurement Example

Here, the ARC MASTER ORG 3600 is being used to measure the outside radius of a rolled section of aluminum square tubing.

Because aluminum is a particularly stubborn metal and tries very hard to remain in its original shape, rolling it as near as possible to its finished radius is highly desirable.

Note: A 2 foot long sweep (sample arc) would not be accurate enough for this large 135″ radius arc.
